Main Classification of Programmable Thermostats

A programmable thermostat is a thermostat that can be programmed, also known as a smart thermostat. Due to the requirements of energy saving, comfort and humanization, such thermostats are now widely used in home heating.

1. Programmable thermostat - water supply temperature control system

This is the simplest kind of control system. It takes the water supply temperature as the controlled parameter. Once the heating water supply temperature is set (set by the user through the operation panel of the wall-hung boiler), the water supply temperature is always kept constant. The indoor temperature is indirectly controlled by the water temperature. This control method is simple and does not require any additional components. The wall-hung boiler itself is equipped.

Programmable thermostats are less than ideal in terms of energy savings and comfort. In order to maintain a comfortable room temperature, users often need to go to the wall-hung boiler to adjust when the external environment changes. Users find it troublesome and will not always adjust it. Then when the external environment changes, the room temperature will also change, either cold or hot, resulting in energy waste, and most of the water temperature control is extensive, and the control of indoor temperature is indirect. It may not be suitable after adjustment. Comfort is reduced while wasting energy. At present, users generally report that heating costs are too high, which is one of the main reasons.

2. Programmable thermostat - room temperature control system

One of the important factors that ultimately determines the comfort of a room is the room temperature, not the temperature of the water supply for heating. Therefore, it is necessary to control the room thermostat of the wall-hung boiler according to the detected room temperature and the set temperature. When the indoor temperature is higher than the set temperature, the wall-hung boiler will stop running, and when the indoor temperature is lower than the set temperature, the wall-hung boiler will be started. At present, a program-controlled thermostat set is commonly used, which can set different temperatures for different time periods of a day or even a week according to the user's work and rest time, and automatically run and control the wall-hung boiler.

(1) Convenience: The wall-hung boiler is automatically adjusted in advance or delayed every day, eliminating the need for manual operation, which is most necessary for office workers and families.

(2) Comfort: The room temperature can be automatically adjusted in the morning, noon, and night every day, avoiding the embarrassment of waiting for the room to heat up and freezing after getting up in the morning and returning home from getting off work.

(3) Gas-saving: The backward and extensive water temperature control is changed to advanced and accurate room temperature control, and the programmable thermostat is added to run at room temperature in different periods and as needed.

(4) Safety: When the room temperature is too low, the wall-hung boiler is forced to start, and only a small amount of gas can be used to safely protect the room from freezing.
